Buddha Pratishthan is a recognized Public Charitable Trust, duly registered under Registration No. F-819 (Thane) on 16th October 1981. The Trust has been serving the community with unwavering commitment for over four decades. In recognition of its social initiatives, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO), under the Government of Maharashtra, allotted a parcel of land measuring 806.25 square meters to the Trust in 1991 to further its developmental objectives.
The Trust enjoys exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act and complies with various other sections of the Income Tax and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Acts, allowing donors to claim tax benefits on their contributions. Buddha Pratishthan is also registered with NITI Aayog, Government of India, as a bona fide Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), further attesting to its transparency and commitment to public welfare.
Buddha Pratishthan is actively engaged in a wide range of charitable, developmental, and empowerment programs aimed at uplifting underprivileged and marginalized sections of society. Our initiatives span across the following sectors:
Social Welfare: Community outreach programs, support for economically disadvantaged families, and holistic development of vulnerable groups.
Education: Educational aid and resources for children from low-income backgrounds, including skill development and personality enhancement.
Health and Medical Services: Free health camps, medical support, and a fully operational ambulance service offering emergency care at no cost to needy residents of Navi Mumbai.
Yoga and Meditation: Regular sessions and workshops promoting mental well-being, inner peace, and physical fitness through yoga and meditation.
Youth Development: Training and guidance programs to equip young individuals with life skills, leadership abilities, and career-oriented knowledge.
Women Empowerment: Specially designed initiatives for the empowerment and self-reliance of women through training, education, and entrepreneurship support.
Cultural Development: Promotion and preservation of cultural values through events, workshops, and community gatherings.
Support for Downtrodden Communities: Continuous efforts to improve the quality of life for the most disadvantaged, focusing on sustainable upliftment and inclusion.
The Trust’s premises comprise a well-constructed building with a ground floor plus two additional floors. The civil construction was made possible through generous contributions from the Trustees and philanthropic donors. The facility serves as a hub for our various charitable activities and community engagement programs.
With a team of dedicated volunteers, professionals, and well-wishers, Buddha Pratishthan continues to expand its outreach and deepen its impact across Navi Mumbai and beyond. We believe in compassionate action, inclusive growth, and building a better society for future generations.
To bring about social, educational, cultural and intellectual development of each person, to introduce principles and teachings of Tathagat Gautam Buddha, to conduct Vipshyana and Shramner Training Centres, and to establish "Bhikshu Niwas".

To strive for educational and economical progress of Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Aadivasis, Nomadic and Denotified Castes/Tribes, other Weaker Sections, helpless boys-girls, and women. To achieve this object, to undertake following programmes
To conduct Anganwadi and Balwadi Classes.
To pay tuition fee of students from economically weaker sections and families below poverty line, to help them by providing school note books books, stationery and uniforms.
To distribute free of cost note books, books uniforms to poor and needy children, to felicitate intelligent children, to create self-confidence, capacity to take decisions, and to create inquisitiveness among them and to develop their potent artistic traits\
To make arrangement reading rooms, library and computers for students.
To conduct training centres to prepare students for competitive examinations.
To establish marriage bureau, arrange collective marriage ceremonies, to encourage inter-caste marriages.
To create feeling of national integrity among people and to organize programmes in that behalf.
To train people about schemes relating to planting trees, environment etc., to provide essential commodities to people affected by natural calamities as social obligation and to provide necessary help to them.
To organize free medical camps, blood donation camps, eyes and dental check up camps, to provide ambulance service to the needy, to enlighten members of the society about zoonotic diseases.
To establish Society's Social, cultural, educational and health centres at Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Maharashtra for use of people.
To inform the Scheduled Castes and Tribes, Adivasis and other nomadic and exempted castes as well as the economically weaker sections about the various schemes of the government and to provide them with appropriate guidance.
To provide facilities and opportunities for primary, secondary and higher education at night schools once the institution becomes financially capable to achieve social, educational and economic balance.
Organizing Dhamma tourism.
To inform and disseminate the values of the Indian Constitution, namely social equality, liberty, fraternity and justice.
To celebrate various public festivals and celebrations, as well as national festivals like 26th January, 15th August etc. To celebrate the birth anniversaries and memorial days of all respected national figures and to propagate their ideas.
To organize seminars and discussions to destroy superstitions and stereotypes in the society. To enlighten and transform the society through this. To organize anti-addiction camps.

Organizing programs with a view to fostering a sense of national unity among the people.
Educating people about tree plantation, environmental schemes etc., providing essential commodities to citizens affected by natural disasters such as floods and disasters as a social commitment, and providing appropriate assistance to those affected by natural disasters.
Organizing free medical health camps, blood donation camps, eye care camps, dental care camps and providing ambulance services to the needy. Creating awareness about zoonotic diseases.
To establish public service centers such as social, cultural centers, educational or health centers, etc. of the organization in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Maharashtra.
